Tomoo Gokita is a Japanese artist born in Tokyo in 1969. He gained attention in the late 1990s for his improvisational drawing works. In recent years, he has been creating abstract painting works that show specific motifs such as portraits in black and white. He has been actively exhibiting and publishing his works in Japan and has participated in solo and group exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and other cities around the world, receiving high acclaim for his unique style.
