The 100% recycled QUANTUM fabric made from discarded fishing nets is woven with ultra-fine yarn (less than 20 denier), making it incredibly lightweight, with excellent tear and seam strength.

The fabric is down-proof, preventing the down from escaping, and weighs approximately 30–35g/m², making it featherlight.

This Pertex® Quantum fabric, precisely constructed from incredibly fine threads, is designed to trap still air and enhance insulation performance.
The durable water-repellent (DWR) finish repels light rain and snow, providing enhanced protection against the elements.

Discarded fishing nets are among the most harmful sources of plastic pollution, and most fishing nets are simply thrown into the ocean due to a lack of alternatives.
Bureo, a California-based company, works directly with local fishermen in South America. Through this program, the nets are sorted, cleaned, and cut in Chile, then regenerated into post-consumer recycled nylon fabric, sourced entirely from fishing nets.
